GDIT is seeking a Logistics Specialist to perform the following tasks and responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze FedEx expenditures and coordinate with RM staff. Primary Key/Lock Custodian for Logistics.
Answer all incoming phones calls.
Assist with questions and problems and re-direct. Create all GEARS transactions for Directorate, proofread correspondence, upload completed GEARS into Logistics “P” drive. Maintain hard copy personnel and FLIPL files.
Set up meetings for Division Chief and maintain in calendar.
Backup training monitor and timekeeper, adding new entries and make corrections as needed on a weekly basis.
Order all supplies for Logistics and created and maintain office supply cabinet spreadsheet. Maintain a variety of quarterly rosters, making necessary changes to shared drive.
Create and work directly with Branch Chiefs to update Spend Plan spreadsheet monthly.
Create tracking number for all CEEP packages, make sure everything is in order before forwarding to Division Chief for Signatures.
Appointed as Primary for IT Group Quarterly Group meetings.
Pass all information learn from meeting to everyone in Logistics and bring forward any questions or concerns that there may be back to the meeting.
Coordinate special events and make any reservations required.
Assist in the Property Book Branch in DMLSS with creating new item ID’s and modifying existing item ID’s to correct format.
Analyze items needing numbers and searching for correct numbers in AESIP and FEDLOG. Maintaining and updating Property List Spreadsheet on LOG P drive.
Research items without correct numbers.
Obtaining picture, price, model and description from internet.
Submitting information to AESIP for an item number to be generated. After creation of number, update spreadsheet and equipment in DMLSS.
Assisting purchasing with printing new request in Contract SharePoint.
Assisting purchasing with uploading all CEEP documents to share drive.
Double checking for documents as needed.
Maintain all CEEP order backup for on desktop for submitting to contracting.
Run weekly 310A report for Procurement Branch Chief for CEEP.
Run bi-weekly Contract SharePoint report for Procurement Branch Chief to accurately analyze CEEP purchasing.
Assist Procurement Branch with tasker for future CEEP purchases, updating supplied spreadsheet with new requests and any additional changes.
Assist Procurement Branch with an additional double check for GPC purchases.
Review any discrepancies with Procurement Branch Chief so that changes can be made before IDOC errors occur.
Organizing and filing all hard copy TDME services orders into folders.
Backup Assistant Fleet Manager in absence of incumbent.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
1-3 years of related inventory management experience.
