General Dynamics Information Technology Program/Project Manager - Military Health Systems TMIP-J (NoVa, Tidewater, Charleston) in Arlington, Virginia
GDIT has openings for Project Management Professionals for the support and maintenance of the Joint Theatre Medical Information Program (TMIP-J) and the JOMIS (JATS & DHRES) Program Office. Candidates willserve as key operational medicine resources for implementation and support of a broad set of clinical and medical support applications. Primary responsibilities include the oversight and coordination of systems engineers, analysts, trainers and administrators deploying and supporting TMIP-J systems for Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Army medical commands and unitsDuties and Responsibilities:
Serve as project leader for Service specific (Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Army) implementations of clinical and support applications software releases and new products
Provide direct liaison support to Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Army leadership to ensure all required resources to include equipment and personnel are available to provide deployment, integration and training and administration of TMIP-J systems to include TC2, AHLTA-T, MCC, MSAT, Medweb, DMLSS and DCAM.
Review and evaluate reporting requests and manage reporting processes to include defining report requirements and validating reporting results.
Performs quality audits, tracks metrics and manage day-to-day activities of team personnel IWA contract requirements and Government requests
Participates in meetings as a member of TMIP-J leadership as required
Promotes system security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance with all PHI, PII and HIPAA regulations and policies
Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
SENIOR – 20 years and advanced degree providing Health Services Support to the US Military
MIDDLE – 8 to 13 years of experience providing functional support of Military Operational Medicine
Expert knowledge of all elements of System Development Lifecycle including system definition, development, Design, analysis & control, integration and testing
Expertise in both the protection of privacy related information, and the data flow management inherent within integrated health systems
Proven understanding of TMIP-J family of systems
Active DoD Secret clearance
Ideally these individuals should have a deep understanding of military operational medicine to include delivery of health services in a variety of deployed environments to include field and combat support hospitals, amphibious assault and hospital ships, and air evacuation platforms.
Certification in Agile, Six Sigma, ITIL or PMP
Experience with Cerner or similar commercial suite of clinical applications
