Job Description:

GDIT is actively recruiting to support Hosting, Operations and Maintenance (HOM) services for HIGLAS. Functional and Technical resources will be required for Application Maintenance and Host support for the HIGLAS application. This effort includes developing and maintaining a secure and certified architecture to support e- Government initiatives; minimize the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) security risk and enhance the protection of privacy and security of data, and improve the CMS’ ability to accommodate the growing workload.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patching of EBS, BI Apps, GRC, OEM and Exadata servers. Analyzes the patches of Oracle and non-Oracle systems. These include SQL Server, Rational Tools and Operating System (Linux and Windows).

  • Interacts with Clients regularly and explains the patching details.

  • Interacts with internal teams to understand, analyze and recommend required patches to support continued functionality and improve the security of the systems.

  • Works closely with Security team to work on emergency security patches

  • Defines and supports HIGLAS data architecture standards.

  • Provides Oracle and SQL Server database administration.

  • Cloning of the EBS Application and Databases. VLDB and SQL.

  • On-Call support on a rotation basis.

  • Ensures compliance with HIGLAS development standards, requirements and enterprise architecture.

Job Qualifications:

Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years ​

  • BS or equivalent + 2 yrs related experience, or MS + 0 yrs related experience

  • 2+ yrs related expereince in EBS R12

  • Shell scripting experience required

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience within Oracle applications environment (installation, configuration, upgrade, patching). Preferably R12.2.x environment

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and performance testing and optimization

  • Experience in OBIEE, SOA, Oracle IDM/SSO, GRC installations, configuration, patching and production support

  • Knowledge and expertise on change migration tools

  • Knowledge and expertise on automation (Shell, Perl scripting)

  • Experience in designing, developing, and testing updates and new enhancements within RDBMS and Oracle DB Concepts.

  • Capacity planning and High Availability configuration with DR setup and configuration experience

  • It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in archive and purge solution for EBS R12.2

  • Experience in informatica archive solution
