General Dynamics Information Technology Administrative Assistant II- TS/SCI Polygraph in Chantilly, Virginia
Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Core Hours - 8:00 - 4:30 - Maintain calendar of events for round tables, brown bags and training; Draft and edit routine announcements to the office workforce; Attend GS-15 staff meetings and serve as recorder and present administrative material; Post the meeting minutes via email or SharePoint; Edit PowerPoint slides for briefings; Collect inputs from resources across the office and check for format, grammar and classification; Access requests; Update announcements, files calendar of events into SharePoint; Prepare weekly staffing and spending reports; Update metrics to show progress toward goals; Manage the office share drive documentation.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and correspondence, answering phones, filing, and sorting and distributing mail, in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Compiles various contract, program, and financial data using various database programs, and prepares monthly status reports based on the results.
Collects and inputs timesheet information into automated accounting system and processes labor corrections.
Processes purchasing requisitions, invoices for consultants and subcontractors, and travel and expense reports.
Serves as point of contact for the office or group on issues related to accounting, human resources, purchasing, and other departments, as well as outside contacts such as customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Participates in special projects as required.
Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
1-3 years of related administrative experience.
