Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems
Sets up administrator and service accounts
Maintains system documentation
Coordinates software installations and provides backup recovery
Provides advice and training to end-users
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
Participates in special projects as required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
2-5 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
Day to daySystem Administration experience and troubleshooting with Windows 2008, 2008R2 or 2012R2 servers
Familiar with Printer/Print Management, NTFS permission troubleshooting and some DHCP
Familiar with Distributed File System (DFS) and Distributed File System Replication (DFSR)
SQL, and IIS experience or understanding is desirable
Highly motivated self-starter who needs little guidance
File / Print server functionality
Windows 7 / 10 troubleshooting
Application troubleshooting- Microsoft Office 2010 / 2016 applications
Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012 R2 servers
Server Cluster Management
Amazon AWS functionality
Disk Storage Capacity
All around knowledge of DNS, DHCP, DFS, Exchange, SQL, and LYNCMust possess appropriate current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA Security+ CE OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification. In addition must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification prior to Hire Date.
Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client; all candidates must hold a TS/SCI Poly.
