General Dynamics Information Technology Principal Systems Engineer - TS/SCI required in Chantilly, Virginia
Position requires an active in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
GDIT is seeking a PKI Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining highly available PKI solutions. This includes both developing completely new implementations and providing additional functionality to existing systems using Agile methodology. With general direction from technical management, the engineer will develop solutions that provide high availability with COOP capabilities to minimize user down time. Candidate will use their Linux skills with both physical hardware and virtual machines.
Design, customize, integrate and document PKI services based on 3rd party COTS products using Agile development approaches and methodologies
Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders to identify and define services, interfaces, and requirements
Develop and execute unit and integration tests of services
Document design, installation and operations & maintenance guides
Provide technical support for the deployment and operations of services
Participates in special projects as required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
A minimum of 8-10 years of related engineering expereince
Combined experience should include IT and IdAM with an exposure to infrastructure and multiplatform environments
Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) desired, but not required
Experience implementing PKI solutions including Certificate Authorities, Registration Authorities and custom middleware
Experience with Linux and virtual machines
Experience with LDAP
Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
Experience integrating with Oracle Database Appliances
Understanding of security patching for both OS and applications
Experience with system hardening tools and standards such as the DISA STIGs, Nessus, etc.
Experience writing PKI governing documents such as the CPS and CP documents
Ability to create security documentation and test plans
Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture and system capabilities
Experience configuring and deploying Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Application Gateway (OAG), Oracle Identity Federation (OIF), Apache httpd
Experience working in an Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence
Experience with Artifactory, Jenkins, Junit and GIT
Experience with developing modules for Puppet
Experience with developing custom checks for Nagios
