General Dynamics Information Technology Sr. Linux Engineer, TS/SCI required in Chantilly, Virginia
Position requires an active in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
GDIT is seekingaPrincipal Systems Engineer to support an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) team. The Systems Engineer is responsible for assisting with leading day-to-day efforts associated with engineering, operating and maintaining IdAM Directory and DevOps services.
At a minimum, the Systems Engineer will support the following:
Project deployments, system upgrades and configurations
Gathering and defining requirements
Actively participate in technical meetings and discussions
Create and update project plans, schedules, and technical documentation
Develop stories against project requirements
Provide presentations and status updates
Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
Participates in special projects as required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.
Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration (RHEL)
Experience in a technical lead role working in an Agile environment
Understanding of DevOps
Working with Standard Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) products
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
Experience using JIRA and Confluence
Experience with Gitlab
Experience with Oracle Virtual Directory
Red Hat Satellite and Capsule servers
Oracle Unified Directory (OUD)
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Management of EC2 instances
Elastic Load Balancers
Experience with PKI
