The client’s mission and user base is growing exponentially and we are seeking new talent to integrate into our existing team which supportsIntelligence Community investigative users. Applicants should be experienced in full lifecycle systems maintenance including, systems and security requirements definition, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Additionally, this position offers opportunities to work with software development, security and database teams to support more secure and scalable storage, flexible data modeling, and a managed cloud migration.Candidates must be able to:
Manage one or more functional areas of information system solutions development and technical support, including personal computer/client server support, systems programming, applications design and development, database design and administration, information security, telecommunications and network support and administration.
Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's UNIX operating systems and all related systems or software.
Analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware/software and applications software and ensure scalability and appropriate integration with other systems.
Detect, diagnose, and report UNIX related problems on both UNIX server and UNIX desktop systems.
Supervise non-exempt technicians and exempt professionals, and may manage subordinate supervisors.
Develop schedules and assign work to meet critical customer deadlines.
Ensure that proper records and other documentation are maintained.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participate in special projects as required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications or work/military experience. Four years work experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree.
8-10 years of related information systems experience, including supervisory experience. A Batchelor's Degree may be substituted for up to 4 of these years.
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance w/current CI Poly OR be able to pass a CI Polygraph.
Strong work ethics, ability to work independently and as part of a multi-contractor team in support of fast-paced but vital government mission.
