Wellness Coordinator/Sr. Benefits Analyst

GDIT has an immediate need for a Wellness Coordinator/Sr. Benefits Analyst. At GDIT, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset. The successful candidate will team with our existing wellness staff and healthy partners to promote our programs and find creative ways to increase engagement and implement new innovative programs.

The Wellness Coordinator will provide analytical expertise and recommendations in the development of our benefit and wellness programs. The role is critical in ensuring our programs enhance the company’s ability to recruit, retain, and motivate employees. We are looking for a highly motivated, creative thinker, and enthusiastic team player who is able to work in a fast paced environment.

This position is located in Falls Church and/or Chantilly, VA.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement the delivery and management of relevant, culturally-appropriate, industry-leading wellness programs to positively influence business impact and help keep our employees healthy.

  • Implement, analyze and report on relevant health and wellness programs, as well as, use the data and analytics to ensure understanding of the impact and outcomes against our program objectives.

  • Collaborate with our diverse third-party vendors, healthy partners, and health coaches to manage the delivery of the programs and ensure key milestones and program deliverables, including all privacy, legal, security, and related requirements are met.

  • Support others on the benefit team in the design, implementation, and communication of new policies, programs, and procedures, assist in annual enrollment process, as well as answer general employee questions with regards to benefits.

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers, advising them on eligibility, provisions, and other related matters.

  • Maintain current knowledge of, and ensures compliance with all benefits-related laws and regulations.

  • Participate in special projects, as needed, and perform other job related duties as required.


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and, professional training, or work experience.


5-8 years of related experience in benefits administration and/or wellness programs.
