Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel.
Designs and develops instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements IAW NAVEDTRA 136
Conducts analysis of training requirements and media requirements.
Develops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materials.
Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans.
Designs and develops computer based training, web-based training, electronic performance support systems and other technology-based learning solutions.
Conduct Job Duty Task Analysis in accordance with NAVEDTRA 137 series to define Navy training requirements.
Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
Participates in special projects as required
Develops flow diagrams and story boards.
Conduct stand-up classroom instruction, including lectures; hands-on procedural training and both live and computer-based simulations to train students in Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) for operating and maintaining shipboard spectrum dependent systems and subsystems.
Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.
8-10 years of directly related experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs.
Operational experience as a Navy IT-2301/2302 spectrum manager is plusc
Experience using Afloat Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Program (AESOP) is a plus
Experience in the use of the NETC Content Planning Module (CPM)/Learning Object Module (LOM) Prefer familiarity with the NETC End-to-End Process is a plus
Must possess proven written and verbal communication skills and be able to act independently.
Experience in use of MS Office (e.g., Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) products.
