General Dynamics Information Technology Hardware Technician in Doha, Qatar
The contractor shall support the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of IT systems to include tracking of hardware during removal/replacement, repair cycle, acquisition requests and disposal requests
Participate in meetings and seminars.
Provide Monthly Status Report (PRS 1)
Support in performing hardware Remedial Maintenance (RM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) as required to maintain equipment at a 90% availability.
When outages or emergencies occur, shall support in providing prioritized service restoration to hardware/software designated by the appointed government representative.
Support on instructing users and maintainers on proper operation and maintenance of systems.
Immediately report all detected or known attempts of unapproved hardware/software installations or changes to the appointed Government representative, USAFCENT Networks.
Support in submitting, updating and monitoring the Help Desk ticketing system for all in- coming requests for service and ensuring that all actions taken are properly documented.
Support Inspections, IA and CM audits .
Comply with Information Assurance standards, USAFCENT Standards, and guidance provided by the DoD.
Assist with equipment accountability (Inventory/positive control).
Support in performing analyses and recommend updates, enhancements or replacements to extend the life or improve reliability of the equipment.
Support in documenting, identifying, removing, relocating, packaging, tracking, sanitizing, modifying, and replacing hardware.
Support in receiving and shipping hardware deliveries.
Support in property disposal procedures in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45, with the exception of Custodian Account & Custodian Request Log (CA/CRL) items; these items shall be administered under Standard Base Supply System (SBSS)/Automated logistics Management Support System (ALMSS), if available. When property is identified as excess and unserviceable, the Contractor shall report the property to the appointed government representative for disposition instructions.
Support in maintaining warehouse vehicles and facilities in a safe and clean manner.
Support in transporting hardware as required by government appointed representative.
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
1-3 years of directly related experience supporting information systems operations.
60 hour work week
