General Dynamics Information Technology Systems Administrator - User Applications TS/SCI w Poly req in El Segundo, California
Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
The successful candidate will provide User support for collaborative systems to include SharePoint and Share Drives. Duties are:
Assist in establishing accounts
Coordinate and set permissions
Perform project User audits
Provide User training
Perform application troubleshooting and testing
Maintain the integrity and security of customer collaborative systems in a multi-mission environment
Set up administrator and user accounts
Maintain system documentation
First line of support to customer issues; identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in collaborative systems software or hardware, including local area connection problems, network access, Internet, etc.
Provide one-on-one assistance to the end user regarding their technical issues, either by phone, e-mails, or in person; provide advice and training to end-users
Monitor and analyze the performance of applications, keeping track of its performance, reliability, risks, and benefits; conduct applications tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action
Coordinate with the service provider for timely repair of the systems
Ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language
Assist with the development of strategies, designs, software testing, development, and upgrade of collaborative systems
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5-8 years of directly related experience in user application administration and analysis.
Must meet the certification requirement of DoD 8570 Level 2 IAT (e.g., Security+)
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Productivity Tools and Microsoft Visio
Self-starter responsive to requests

Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
