General Dynamics Information Technology Talent Strategist, Defense in Fairfax, Virginia
Join the Talent Development Center of Excellence to serve as a consultant and strategic talent partner to senior leaders in the Defense Division.
Assess and identify development specific gaps within the Defense Division population and define specific interventions that will positively impact employees at all levels.
Work with the broader Talent Strategist team to identify synergies between all GDIT divisions and develop enterprise-level solutions to tackle common talent challenges.
Act as liaison between employees, leaders and Centers of Excellence (COE), including Culture and Engagement, Talent Mobility and Total Rewards.
Create strategies and talent roadmaps for the employee population, and effectively communicate newly developed talent related programs.
Provide guidance and training to managers and supervisors on relevant learning channels available.
Communicate talent development metrics results to the business and track learning progress for accountability, results and creation of talent interventions.
Collaborate with other COEs and HR Business Partners on strategic talent initiatives, processes and programs.
Must be results oriented and demonstrate strategic thinking, innovation and agility.
Excellent analytic, consultative and problem solving skills with the ability to take a thoughtful data driven approach to addressing challenges.
Act as a natural advisor and foster relationships with all levels of the organization to help employees achieve their development goals and aspirations.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant human resources and talent development practices.
Travel to company locations and client sites may be required.
Participate in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred.
8-10 years of related human resources experience.
