General Dynamics Information Technology Administrative Assistant III - TS/SCI with Polygraph in Herndon, Virginia
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Arrange, maintain, and coordinate phone interview appointment schedules for seven team members representing over 350 interview sessions per month. Prepare, track, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics on program activities, to include generating monthly case production reports. Create, attach, and process administrative documents for case processing. Maintain extensive case filing and tracking systems. Prepare case packages for interviews and case reviews. Coordinate weekly meetings, to include sending of invitations, agenda, and notifying attendees of case review decisions. Respond to requests for support and case processing status inquiries, ensuring critical inquiry issues are immediately elevated for management consideration and action. Order office supplies and arrange for copier repair and maintenance activities. Review SF86 forms for completion. Must be capable to review documents for accuracy against Sponsor specifications. Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and correspondence, coordinating travel and meeting arrangements, answering phones, filing, and sorting and distributing mail, in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Compiles and analyzes various contract, program, and financial data using various database programs, and prepares monthly status reports based on the results.
Collects and inputs timesheet information into automated accounting system and processes labor corrections.
Processes purchasing requisitions, invoices for consultants and subcontractors, and travel and expense reports.
Serves as point of contact for the office or group on issues related to accounting, human resources, purchasing, and other departments, as well as external contacts such as customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Provides work leadership to less experienced clerical and administrative personnel, and may have limited supervisory responsibilities.
Participates in special projects as required.
Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
5-8 years of related administrative experience.
