Job Description

Conducts negotiation and administration of government subcontracts.

  • Develops and administers subcontracts and other agreements in support of proposal activities in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures.

  • Provides Subcontract support to significant proposal initiatives including participating in strategy level meetings, color team and management reviews.

  • Review and approve NDAs and TAs

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for business and growth on acquisition issues and provides guidance on interpreting RFP requirements and various subcontracting issues.

  • Assist Subcontractor RFP strategy including determination of appropriate flow-downs and negotiation of model subcontract.

  • Negotiates price/cost and subcontract or other agreement provisions, including conducting Fair and Reasonable determinations and completing Price Analyses

  • Begins to mentor/train co-workers as it pertains to Subcontract Administration.

  • Actively involved in problem resolution, driving efficiencies, and improvements throughout the Subcontract Proposal Organization.

  • Actively involved in developing and maintaining internal and external business relationships.

  • Compiles reports for Subcontracts and/or Project Management.

  • Actively engages with other members of the Subcontracts, Capture, and Operations Management Team.

  • Participates in special projects as required.


Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.


5-8 years of related experience in subcontracts administration and/or supporting proposal processes.
