In this role, your responsibilities will include leading our Talent Acquisition Sourcing team, working alongside our Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to develop and execute impactful sourcing strategies which support the General Dynamics Information Technology growth strategy.
• Lead, develop, and train a team of onsite and virtual sourcers• Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers and be the go-to expert in all areas of sourcing talent.• Ability to communicate and manage customer expectations with a keen focus on performance and return on investment• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that align with business priorities to include sourcing, assessment, organizational fit, and closing• Perform continuous discovery and evaluation of innovative sourcing technology and tools• Work closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and other business partners in creating short and long term forecasting models and workforce hiring plans• Proactively build qualified talent pipelines to meet growing business demands through internet sourcing, recruitment marketing campaigns, events and more.• Responsible for the implementation of new processes and practices in support of Strategic Sourcing and driving efficiencies within the organization.• Ability to develop formal recruiting strategic plans and analytics to evaluate the team’s progress and achievements.• Provide hands-on sourcing related support and manage the search process for key positions and executive level hires.• Provide recruiting expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technology and sourcing tools, best practices, legal developments, and benchmark comparisons.
Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
8-10 years of related recruiting experience, including supervisory experience leading high performing talent acquisition teams. Progressive sourcing and strategic talent acquisition experience with demonstrated success developing innovative and passive recruiting strategies to meet company demands. In depth knowledge of current industry trends, emerging technology and tools, best practices, and benchmark comparisons. Experience using complex Boolean strings, Chrome extensions, and social mining sourcing techniques. Strong ATS/CRM/Technical skills with the ability to utilize technology to increase productivity and achieve results. Experience recruiting in a large-scale IT government contracting environment supporting positions at various clearance levels (Secret, TS/SCI, TS/SCI CI Poly and Full Scope Poly) is preferred.
