Job Description:

CSRA is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs (i.e. Multi-Mission Launcher, PM UAS, and PM-Aviation). This position requires an innovative, outgoing, self-starter, and motivated individual with fundamentally sound engineering skills. The team utilizes Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) on a variety of programs (e.g. infancy to mature systems) to produce state-of-the-art model-based capabilities to analyze weapon system and component level requirements and system interactions.


-- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation,

evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for

total systems.

-- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include:

concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and


-- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into

total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost


-- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies,

requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer

requirements into hardware and software specifications.


-- BS or equivalent + 2 yrs related experience, or MS + 0 yrs experience

-- Must have a current Secret Clearance


-- Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and/or Unified Modeling

Language (UML)

-- Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, or any model-based tool

-- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering
