General Dynamics Information Technology Supply Technician in Leavenworth, Kansas
Manages government property and assets in accordance with contracts requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations for the Mission Command Training Program. This positions responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creates and maintains inventories of government and/or corporate property.
Conducts periodic inventories of office furniture and automated data processing equipment.
Maintains inventory database, including making corrections and entering data when necessary.
Provides and maintains records of receipts to individuals with property.
Provides training on matters relating to property management.
Ensures that equipment works properly and provides replacement equipment when necessary.
Generates various reports as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
2-5 years of related property administration experience.
Knowledge of the practices, policies, and procedures involved in property management.
Knowledge of Government equipment shipping requirements
Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 and associated DFARS requirement to support property management
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and other related software applications.
Travel: 30% of the Time.

Must possess an active Secret clearance
NPMA certified a plus (CPPA, CPPS)
