General Dynamics Information Technology Instructional Developer in Orlando, Florida
Designs and develops instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirements.
Candidate must work well in team environment to provide support for instructors:
Build courses in the VBA Virtual SchoolHouse (Moodle)
Develop lesson materials, including interactivities
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions
Navigate through PowerPoints, whiteboards, and poll questions
Monitor student progress/Communicate with Instructors
Collaborate with Instructors to make adjustments based on daily surveys
Candidate must work well in team environment to provide support for support for students:
Send Welcome email/Microsoft Lync or AdobeConnect invitations
Conduct Pre-Training Systems Check
Confirm students have access to necessary VA systems
Welcome students into virtual classroom
Troubleshoot any technical difficulties
Address student questions
Bachelors Degree in Education or a related discipline.
2-5 years of related instructional development experience.
Candidate must have virtual training background/experience.
Candidate should also be an excellent communicator in both written and oral formats.
Candidate must be very detail oriented.
