Job Description:

Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Ensures system security needs established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integration and testing issues. May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.


  • Provide continuous technical and analytical support in the review and application of Cyber Security processes, policy, doctrine, directives, and regulations, and ensure Cyber Security policy compliance and implementation.

  • Provide technical support to the Cyber Security Program Manager (CSPM) and assess information technology policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure the application of these standards are balanced between security and operational requirements.

  • Perform technical inspections to verify Configuration Management of information systems.

  • Develop, recommend, and submit to USARPAC Authorizing Official (AO)/CSPM Government leads for approval of USARPAC Cyber Security and security policies in the form of Letters of Instruction (LOI), Memorandums, or Directives.

  • Keep the government leads apprised of all newly published changes to existing security related DOD/Army directives, instructions and regulations.

  • Review and make update recommendations on Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Research and develop SOPs that address current processes and procedures as well as support regulatory guidance and provide accurate step-by-step procedures.

  • Perform other task as required in support of the USARPAC Cyber Security efforts.

  • TDY maybe required

Communication Skills

The contractor shall have the ability to speak and write, conveying complex ideas, with ease and concisely in support of briefings, writings, or oral presentations.

Contractor shall be able to take visionary goals and objects, with general directions, and develop technical concept plans and then implementation

Certification Required

Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) If possible, other preferred certifications include: MCSE/MCDBA/CCNA/UNIX/LINUX

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or equivalent + 5 yrs related experience, or MS + 3 yrs related experience
