General Dynamics Information Technology Sr. Training Specialist - TS/SCI - Hawaii in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel.
Develops, tests, maintains, and delivers moderately complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
Establishes and reviews course content and objectives.
Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
May provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs.
Conducts research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.
5-8 years of directly related experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs. 2. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technologies as required. 3. Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills. 4. Experience training on IT equipment and software programs. 5. Experience with DoD Intel programs preferred. 6. Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 7. Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. 8. Must meet DoD 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire. 9. Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required. 10. This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide 11. The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
