Job Description

Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks.

At this level, the position is typically responsible for managing multiple tasks or a single large project that includes coordination with team leads to control and complete a project while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks to the Software, Systems, Cyber team and Logistics team

  • Report to Program lead with the project progress so S/he present to the sponsors with any critical path the project may encounter

  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.

  • May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.

  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to program lead on task workload.

  • Plan and implement projects

  • Assist with defining the project scope, goals and deliverables

  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.

  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

  • Monitor and report project progress

Education

  1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

  2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred.

Qualifications

8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Effective management skills.

  • Effective administrative and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management

  • Proficiency in project management software tools
