General Dynamics Information Technology Program Analyst – Contract Management in Rockville, Maryland
GDIT is hiring a program analyst looking to gain experience in program management by supporting the management activities of a complex contract in support of the Office of Refugee Resettlement. The position is based in Rockville, MD. We are looking for someone who has the right organizational skills and analytical/functional prowess to support complex operations involving a large staff. Flexibility is a key requirement. Some weekend hours may be required.
Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks as assigned by the program manager
Develops and tracks plans, including budgets and schedules, travel plans, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements
Documents processes and maintains a process assets library
Reviews and monitors expenditures, and ensures adherence to customer guidelines and GDIT policies
Interacts regularly with program staff to ensure conformance to customer requirements
Performs change management activities and updates documentations and processes as needed
Writes and edits reports, to include a monthly status report, and compiles information from a variety of sources
Develops communication plans and maintains a database of staff information
Reviews expense reports and tracks travel expenditures
Coordinates the onboarding process of new hires
Builds and maintains complex spreadsheets of program data
Updates and maintains a SharePoint repository
Performs knowledge management activities
Participates in special projects as needed, including business development activities
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
2-5 years of related finance or business analysis experience. Effective organizational skills. Proven expertise in the use of spreadsheets (Excel), and other related software applications. Effective communication and excellent writing skills. Knowledge of project and program management. Flexibility. Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to change.
