Oversees a variety of quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. and supervises assigned Quality Assurance Inspectors.
Oversees a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
Supervises assigned staff of Quality Assurance Inspectors.
Works closely with management to ensure adherence to ISO standards.
Recommends modifications to existing products and suggests new, standards, methods, and procedures.
Develops and implements quality training programs.
Guides and directs employees in quality improvement efforts.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Famililarity with CBRN Hazard Warning and Reporting systems and softwarehighly desired
5-8 years of related quality assurance experience.
Professional or internal certification(s) may be required, depending on job assignment.
