General Dynamics Information Technology Security Analyst- Level 4 with TS/SCI clearance in Springfield, Virginia
Manages the security function for a Division, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Utilize security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security issues.
Assist, collaborate, and coordinate with other SIS offices and divisions
Provide security guidance to contractors using DoD and IC regulations and requirements – analyze complex data and make appropriate program recommendations.
Risk management – conducts surveys and render impact statements or recommendations.
Provide service excellence in listening, understanding, and providing security response, guidance and resolution to the customer’s questions and inquiries.
Assist Program Managers (PMs), Contracting Officers (Cos), and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) to prepare contract security guidance (e.g., DD Form 254) in accordance with the NISPOM, FAR and DFAR requirements.
Perform functions as security control officer by verifying need-to-know processing program access requests, maintain applicable access databases, and conduct indoctrinations, debriefs, and annual training/revalidation, as needed.
Ensure that all customer and contractor areas (CONUS and OCONUS) have met all DoD and IC standards for processing, handling and storing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Collateral classified information prior to formal accreditation as a SCIF or secure area.
Provide recommendations and guidance for new facilities and those to be renovated.
Perform and conduct site security surveys, including compliance of technology equipment supporting SCIFs and collateral areas (e.g., access control, intrusion detection systems, locks, destruction devices, secure phones, etc.,), prior to SCIF accreditation.
Provide industrial security guidance to contractors using the NISPOM requirements.
Conduct inspections and performs assist visits, as required.
Coordinate and consolidate information to support formal and informal action items in support of OPSEC and security monitors program.
Provide agency level technical expertise concerning the identified security disciplines
Analyze complex physical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
10-12 years of related experience in facility or industrial security management, preferably in the government contracting industry.
Minimum of 5 years of this experience in the intelligence community.
Experience working with personnel security databases (e.g., DCII, JPAS, and Scattered Castles)
