Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with company/customer system architecture standards.
Technical shift supervisor for exercises and provide liaison for joint exercises, and special events/projects. 2. Direct integration of all models and simulations in the JLVC federation supporting joint training exercises.3. Establish multicast network parameters used for model and simulation communication throughout the federation via the high level architecture (HLA) using the run-time infrastructure (RTI). 4. Identify and coordinate, through the Network Operations Service Center (NOSC), resolution of network firewall issues experienced with distributed locations. 5. Apply knowledge of federation management principles to manage all simulated OTH Gold and TADIL injects using Joint MSEL Exercise Control Station (JMECS) to inject simulation tracks to theAir Defense System Integrator(ADSI) and GCCS into the command and control (C2) architecture to provide the training audience the most accurate and relevant common operational picture (COP). 6. Use the federation management tools such as the Joint Simulation Protocol Analyzer (JSPA), Joint Analysis Workstation (JAWS), Joint MSEL Exercise Control Station (JMECS), and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) to analyze interactions between models and simulations to ensureall training audience systems are stimulated accurately and at the required levels and locations.7. Utilize federation tools to troubleshoot issues to determine if the source is software, simulation, network, or database related to maintain optimum federation performance.
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with system plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for each exercise.9. Provide guidance to government representatives regarding model capabilities. Help determine model selection to accomplish training objectives with minimal footprint and cost.Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and designs complex computer systems to process data.
Coordinates with client to define problem, determine data availability, report requirements, and resolve system design problems.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
May serve as a technical team or task leader.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
8-10 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.
AWSIM experience preferred
