Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Audio Visual Technician in Stuttgart, Germany.

Essential Job Functions:

Full-time Senior Thinklogical Audio/Visual Technician to support an Operations Center virtual device management system and audio visual systems provided through the Thinklogical Audio/Visual equipment suite.

  • Provide O&M support, coordination, and monitoring for all systems related work in the JOC, including Audio Video (AV) routing matrix, computer systems, architecture, controlled lighting.

  • As time allows, provide user training and over-the shoulder guidance for JOC personnel to ensure operational efficiency to include creating TTPs, SOPs and operational guides

  • Develop and implement a weekly operations check for the Audio-Visual equipment/systems in the Senior Decision Cell. Report accomplishment and/or findings to the JOC Watch Officer.

  • Create and implement a Preventative Maintenance Schedule to maintain and prolong equipment life to include replacement of consumables IAW manufacturer recommendations

  • Provide configuration/change management for the software code used to manage the ThinkLogical systems and AMX Control devices. Make user defined routine changes as required and provide capability for implementing major changes periodically

  • Provide weekly status briefs on the JOC Audio-Visual Presentation systems and project status

Basic Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience,OR;

  • An associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,OR;

  • A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,OR;

  • 11 years of recent specialized experience.*Major Certification" would include a CCIE or similar type of high level ITcertification which requires multiple tests and a Practical (hands-on) exam.There are very few IT Certs which qualify as Major certifications

  • Proven experience working in a complex technology/enterprise solutions/systems implementation environment, and in a high-echelon military COCOM environment.

  • Knowledge and/or experience working with Combatant Commands and Military Networks.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience working in a complex technology/enterprise solutions/systems implementation environment, and in a high-echelon military COCOM environment.

  • Knowledge and/or experience working with Combatant Commands and Military Networks.

  • 3-5 years of audio visual experience, including control systems (AMX)

  • 5 years’ experience in video conferencing support


• SECURITY CLEARANCE Required - Must be able to obtain TOP SECRET/SCI

• IAT Level II certification(s) in accordance with DoD 8570.1

  • CompTIA Security+ CE

  • Harman Certified Installer or InfoComm CTS Cert (must obtain one of these certs within 6 months of hire)

  • Willingness to work flexible hours

  • Shift work may be required

  • On Call Status may be required

  • May be required to sign for equipment

  • Must be able to pass TESA requirements
