Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Design technical architectures, services, APIs, applications and web sites to support core business and external facing products using the J2EE platform and the Java based entellitrak product.

  • Performs software development activities while leading the software development team to ensure quality and timeliness

  • Develop coding standards, techniques and best practices.

  • Contribute domain-specific expertise by reviewing code, technical architecture/design, and mentoring team members

  • Propose technical solutions of varying technologies for RFP responses/proposals and proof of concepts.

  • Applies advanced technical principles, theories and concepts. Contributes to development of new principles and concepts.

  • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.

Required Skills:

  • Software development experience (8+ years).

  • Object Oriented Design and implementation experience (8+ years).

  • Object Oriented Design patterns application experience (8+ years).

  • Java experience (5+ years).

  • Micropact entellitrak, ServiceNow, or similar COTS implementation experience (5+ years)

  • MVC framework experience with Spring, Hibernate, and/or Struts

  • Experience applying Java technologies to the development of n-tier, web-based applications (8+ years).

  • Experience designing APIs and web services (WCF) (5+ years).

  • Strong HTML5, Java, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL Server, AngularJS, and CSS development skills.

  • Experience interfacing with relational databases utilizing SQL Server and Oracle.

  • XML and ASP.Net MVC framework experience.

  • Understanding of version control and change management processes, is a must.

  • Detail-oriented with solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • Secure coding practices

Additional Skills Considered :

  • Unified Process and/or Agile Methodology experience.

  • Strong Microsoft .Net experience including ASP, WPF, C# and TFS (5+ years).

  • Experience with AJAX, SOAP, SOA, and DB2 stored procedures is a plus.

  • Familiar with Section 508 requirements.

  • MongoDB and Mulesoft

  • Experience with Mobile development (Android, iOS)

  • In-depth knowledge of the background investigations and personnel security domain

Education/Experience

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or similar

  • 12+ years of development experience

Access/Clearance

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Favorably-Adjudicated SSBI
