We are seeking anExtract, Load, and Translate (ETL) Engineer IIIwith focus on Development Operations (DevOps) technologies and services to support our Justice Programs team in Washington, DC/Metro Area. In this position, you will support the FBI’s Information Technology Applications and Data Division’s (ITADD) operation and enhancement of over 80 existing IT applications. ITADD oversees activities in information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security.
Responsible for developing, sustaining, and improving the current system data ingest functions and make adjustments, as needed, by performing analysis, monitoring and configuring the solution
Creating or updating detailed design information
Accessing and reviewing the code repository, administering code reviews, adjusting unit testing, maintaining build support, including continuous integration
Sustain operational support activities and respond to mission critical requests
Working with application development tools, standards and languages
Six (6) years’ experience with the following technologies:
XML, XSLT, Java, web services
SVN, RCS, Git, OLS Security, JIRA
Sun Solaris, Linux (CentOS, Red Hat), Windows
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline (Preferred)
