GDIT is assembling a team of cyber security experts to who will train and certify as a cohesive team to secure advanced technologies for the FBI. Capabilities include Blue/Red Team assessment and protection tactics, techniques, and procedures for hardening networks, systems, and applications against known and team found threat. As a team member you will be challenged to continuously innovate and administer effective, efficient processes and procedures to minimize risk and safeguard FBI data, infrastructure, and people. Both employee and government staff will be certified by the GDIT Cyber Security Center of Excellence, who will also participate as a team member on a day to day basis. Currently we are seeking a Information Assurance Engineer.
Designs and implements information assurance and security engineering systems with requirements of business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management).
Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
Validates system security requirements definition and analysis. Establishes system security designs. Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
Verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities. Supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Active Top Secret Clearance and BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience
