We are seeking aData Architectwith focus on Development Operations (DevOps) technologies and services to support our Justice Programs team in Washington, DC/Metro Area. In this position, you will support the FBI’s Information Technology Applications and Data Division’s (ITADD) operation and enhancement of over 80 existing IT applications. ITADD oversees activities in information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security.
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science, Statistics or a related technical discipline (preferred), or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Understands data structures and can make recommendations to optimize application-specific data stores
Designs and builds relational and non-relational databases
Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions
Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access
Fifteen (15) years of experience with programming and database scripting for large and complex information systems
Five (5) years of experience engineering Oracle solutions with RAC configurations
Three (3) years of experience with Oracle DataGuard in a production environment
Two (2) years of experience with Oracle security solutions to include encryption and key management
